The Global Institute of Behavior is an independent certifying body in applied behavioral science. The Institute develops and maintains examination standards and professional frameworks by which practitioners are assessed across the public and private sectors.

We operate independently of any particular training provider. Our examinations are sat by candidates from accredited training organizations across multiple countries. Our credentials are presented by practitioners working in government, academic, HR, and professional contexts internationally.

The Institute operates under an independent board of governors. Examination standards are set by the Scientific Advisory Council, which includes fellows from psychology, neuroscience, and behavioral biology.

Submit an application with your professional background. Our admissions team reviews eligibility against the requirements for your chosen certification level.

Approved Training

Candidates complete study with a GIB-approved training organization or self-prepare against the published competency framework. Preparation schedules vary by level.

Formal Examination

Examinations are administered by GIB or approved assessment centers. All assessments are conducted under standard examination conditions with independent marking.

Credential & Registration

Successful candidates receive a certificate and are listed in the GIB International Practitioner Directory. Credentials are subject to CPD requirements for annual renewal.
